CHEMICAL PEELS
At Claremont Skin Clinic we offer a selection of chemical peels which we believe to be some of the best available. We cater for all skin types and prescribe our skin peels accordingly. Some of our peels are classed as light penetration (known as the “lunchtime peel”;) these peels need very little recovery time and are suitable for most skin types. We also offer medium to deep peels, for the more problematic or thicker – sun damaged skin. These peels by their very nature require a longer recovery period, along with pre peel skin preparation regime and actual skin peeling will occur.
We offer peels based on :-
Alphahydroxy acids (AHAs)
These are the mildest peels and give a light peel effect. The acids include, Glycolic, Salycilic, lactic etc.,
Trichloroacetic acid (TCA)
These can be used in many concentrations, but it is most often used for medium-depth peeling. Treating such conditions as fine lines and surface wrinkles, blemishes and pigmented skin also these stronger chemical peels are very effective in the treatment of sun damaged/over exposed skin.

Skin Ceuticals® – mild / moderate Chemical Peels
Skin Tech® - Moderate – deep Chemical Peels.
A consultation and patch test will be required in all cases.
